Silent Auction Details

During the silent auction, bidders give us their contact information at the circulation desk of the McConnell Library and we give them a bid number. Once they have that number, they can make a bid, either by phone or in person. They may check back periodically to monitor the progress of the bidding. At the close of the sale, the person with the highest bid gets the piece at that price.

Please Note:

  • There are 2 cabinets available, Cabinet # 1 and Cabinet # 2, pictured below.

  • Bids can be made at the McConnell Library circulation desk or by phoning 562-3161.

  • Minimum bid per cabinet ~ $75

  • Bidding will close at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, September 3.

  • Items must be paid for by September 8 and must be removed from the Library by September 10.

  • All pieces are sold as is. Please note, cabinet # 2 is missing drawers.

  • All money raised goes toward the services of the Cape Breton Regional Library.
