Library Feasibility Study Results
On January 24, 2012, Spiro Trifos Design Consultants and dmA Planning and Management Services presented their findings for the feasibility study on the future use and needs of the McConnell Library. The presentation is available here.
The McConnell Library CAP site was one of the first CAP sites opened in Cape Breton in June 1996. The site, located at the James McConnell Memorial Library in Sydney, has trained thousands of people in basic Internet and e-mail and has consistently maintained over 90% use of all computer time available.
Currently, there are five public access computers for use, as well as one 20 minute express terminal. Scanning and print facilities are also available.
For more information about using the public terminals, please see the public access computer section of the website.
