Using the Catalogue
The LeughSeo catalogue lists the Gaelic books available in the Cape Breton Regional Library and the Cape Breton University Library. This catalogue contains Gaelic language records held at both libraries. To access materials shown in this database, you need to follow the procedures set out for each organization. Links to both web sites are available here.
Upon entering the catalogue, you will enter at the LeughSea Search page. Your search options include searching by title, author or subject. Type your search request into the search box and click on Execute Search. The program will find all records in the database that match your search request and display them in a results page. All results are shown by title. For the full record, simply click on the result you want. This will bring you to the record page which lists details of the record including author, title, subject, location, and call number.
To have access to any of these books, you must check the location and call number provided in the record. With that information, link to the Cape Breton Regional Library or Cape Breton University Library web pages to check on borrowing policies and availability of material.
