Toddler Time
Toddler Time is a program offered at the Glace Bay, North Sydney and Sydney library branches. The program is designed to meet the needs of children between 18 and 35 months of age and will run from September to June. Toddler Time offers parents/caregivers a place to come with their child to enjoy songs, rhymes, stories and music. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Pre-registration is required. Contact your local library to pre-register or for more information.
Babies and Books
It's never too early to introduce children to books, rhymes, music and stories. Babies and Books is a program offered for babies aged birth to 17 months and their parents/caregivers. Through picture books, songs, interactive rhymes and activities, parents can learn to stimulate their baby's language development and growing mind. Join Bev McGee of the McConnell Library for this one hour program which also includes a play session with toys, boardbooks and lots of chat. Registration is required and begins two weeks before each session.
