Register for a Library Card Online

Residents of Nova Scotia can apply for a library card, simply by filling in the form below and clicking on the "Send Now" button. Your library card will be mailed to you within a few days. To activate your card, visit any one of the Cape Breton Regional Library branches and present two valid pieces of identification. Any information is strictly confidential and is used for public library purposes only.

For those who are 13 years of age or younger, please enter your parent/guardians name and phone number at the bottom of the form. A parent's signature is required on the back of all juvenile library cards.

If applicant is under 14 years of age:
I am the parent/guardian of the above-named applicant and I hereby apply for borrowing privileges on his/her behalf. I understand that I am responsible for all library materials my child reads or views. I agree to take responsibility for the materials borrowed on his/her library card and to abide by the rules and regulations of the Cape Breton Regional Library.
