Library Legacy Book Fund
To help to ensure materials for the future, the Library Legacy Book Fund will help provide the library with a continued supply of resources into the future. The Library Legacy Book Fund is a unique way for an individual or organization to make a lasting contribution to their community; to help ensure that generations to come will have new library resources; and to get benefit today for your donation through a charitable tax receipt.
With your gift of $500, the library will purchase one new
book, in your or your organization's name, every year, forever. You can choose from a list
of subject areas that include adult and children's fiction; picture books for
pre-schoolers; history; nature; environment; biographies; arts and crafts; and business.
You can also designate the Cape Breton Regional Library branch where you want
your books to be housed.
A bookplate acknowledging your gift is placed in the front of each book. Through the
Library Legacy Fund, donors can provide a lasting legacy to the library and the community.
